Something I've always found useful, given that these Tilesets have no edge tiles, is to open an appropriate section of wall to the edge and then put a wraparound Skybox like "Wildspace" on the Area which can give very nice 'space station docking bay' effects. These are all non-overwriting versions so you can use all three in a single Module to your heart's content. Just so's you know.Īt the outset, I altered the 'fan vent' in Dr Hoo's Service Ducts to something with a 'Door' texture so that, whilst it still doesn't have an actual Door Node, it does have a viable looking point of ingress for you to put Area Transition trigger boxes in front of. Thus, so far as I can ascertain, most of the textures Fifi used on these Tilesets are from Raven Software's "Jedi Academy" game. Just as a note, I was poking about in the innards of a variety of other games last year and thieving textures like a disgusting larcenous spleen and thus altering them to my satisfaction and using them for all sorts of NWN Placeables and Tilesets.

Tileset B represents nice clean laboratories, medical facilities or hygienic space stations, etc and Tileset C is blatantly some run down, semi-derelict chunderpile sort of place, good for rubbish atomic bunkers and such. But then, that could be said of almost everything I do.Īccording to Fifi, Tileset A supposedly represents dark, nasty, malign villain territory, good for Sith spacecraft, Mad Evilist citadels, Dalek bases etc. But be warned, I've always found critisizing Fifi is unconducive to a long and healthy life. In a cunning division of labour designed to confuse and irritate our vile, twisted oppressors (we don't know who those are, but we're sure there must be some), Fifi and I split the work and whilst I did six stone-textured versions for Fantasy Modules (which will be available on the Vault shortly after this Hak), she did most of the work on these three. As mentioned, I always found this a very useful interior (with ceilings!) and came to the conclusion that it would be a good thing to have a selection of different texture versions. These are all reskins of the small but very useful "Service Ducts" Tileset by Dr Hoo (based on the earlier "Virtual Reality" Tileset by Geekfiend and messed about with some).

However, before anyone becomes unduly excited, I feel compelled to point out that they are, in fact, all the SAME Tileset.

I thought Blighted Ferrets ought to be fairly self-explanatory. It is a foul-mouthed and morally repugnant cursed mustelid animal of loathsome undead appearance, much given to hopping up and down, rubber-fashion, like a diseased otter whilst oozing with. And you should all be quite glad about that. Three Interior Tilesets suitable for Sci-Fi, Modern, Time Travel, Etc and so on and so forth and not forgetting the Blighted Ferrets.Īctually, there are NO Blighted Ferrets in this Hak file.
